The Western Veteran and Vintage Motor Club which is believed to be the second oldest in Ireland was established in 1977 by a number of enthusiasts in Galway. With a membership of around 200 from all over Ireland and Great Britain our aim is to promote an interest in Veteran, Vintage and Classic Cars through the organisation of runs and rallies for these vehicles. We organise at least 10 outings per year, including our Pre-55 run in April for vehicles older than 1955 and our famous WestRun in July. To be a member of the club, it is not necessary to own a classic vehicle.
