Members began to assemble at the Hotel in Oranmore at 11.30 on a dull but mild Sunday morning and by the time of 12 noon 13 cars were ready to depart on the run, we travelled through Gort and had a lovely drive to Kilchreest and stopped for something to eat at the Village Inn which was very enjoyable for the food and able to chat with some old friends, it was time to continue with the journey back to Galway through Loughrea then onto the old Dublin Road and home.

The Classic Car Fest will be held on the 8th June at the Galway Racecourse Ballybrit.

The WVVMC will have a stand for our members to display their Vintage & Classic cars.

Why not come along and have a great day out seeing all the different vehicle’s on display

and various attractions that will be there.

The Heritage Run will take place on the 25th May

and will visit the Connemara Cultural Centre in Ros Muc.
